Character creator

A deep cosmetic character creator lets you customize hair, beards, facial features and colors — dozens of options. Steam store (App 2295170) ↗ Exact slider counts and whether body type/voice are customizable haven't been itemized. Unknown Steam store (App 2295170) ↗

Is there a "pawn" or hireling system?

No pawn/hireling system has been announced. Players ask whether there's a controllable companion or hireling (à la Dragon's Dogma "pawns"). There's no confirmation of any such system — and Emberville is single-player only at launch. We won't invent a pawn system that doesn't exist. Unknown Steam store (App 2295170) ↗
